Well difficult is a perfect description haha! It was well made and a good idea just maybe add a easy mode haha!
Yea difficulty for this one was kind of through the roof. It was difficult for me as the developer to get through, so I should have caught that it would be near impossible for players. Lesson learned for future games!
What would make this a little more cohesive is if you added a slight delay timer for after you have countered. Im sure most people have tried countering right as the cpu strikes, and not preemtively- similarly to the "cyote time" jump strategy
There is actually already that! You have an additional 0.05 seconds after the enemy hits, though that could probably have been extended a lil bit more to be more forgiving. Great suggestion!
I don't get it ... how can I attack? I can only block?
The way to attack / deal damage is to counter. If you block just before an enemy strikes (max 0.3 seconds before) then you counter, and that deals damage. That’s when you get the CLANG sound effect.
